HDMI output resolution

Is 1080p the highest supported resolution for the HDMI port?

Which core? On paper the CM4 should be able to output 4Kp60 through HDMI. https://www.raspberrypi.com/documentation/computers/config_txt.html

I have a devterm (with the latest clockworkpi mainboard, which I assume is the same one in the uConsole) with the CM4 core. Plugging my main monitor in to it and fetching the available modes gives me

I’m not sure why I don’t have an option for 4k at 60Hz, it might be a limitation of the main board, or my cheap aliexpress micro HDMI connector.

I usually run the external display at 1080p, but trying it out at 3840x2160@30Hz for a few minutes just now looked fine.

You have to enable 4K@60Hz in the boot options. It’s possible but at the edge of what the CM4 can do.

I have the A06, I don’t know if that changes anything.

The A-06 is powered by a Rockchip RK3399, which should be able to manage at least 4K@30Hz. Not sure about the specifics for configuring it though.
