Installing Tera Term Question

I’m trying to get prepaired for when my PicoCalc gets here. I already have PicoCal_BIOS_v1.4.bin, PicoMite_PICO_V6.00.03_PicoCalc.uf2, and stm32cubeprg-win64-v2-20-0.zip downloaded. I also have teraterm-5.5.0-x64.exe downloaded but not installed. The instalation asks for a lot of options to be turned on or off and I have no idea what it is talking about. Could somebody here please tell me what options I need to turn on and which to turn off? Thank you for your help! - Jim - P.S. Are there any other firmware/apps I need to download to update my PicoCalc? I also know to put tape on the screen during the assembly.

Also, it might help you to answer if you know how I plan to use my picoCalc. I will just be using it to write Basic code. I write engineering code and aviation code. I already have written 11 basic programs using Windows mmBasic and hope I will be able to send them from my laptop to my PicoCalc using XMODEM.

If you use XMODEM, you have to send one at a time. If you mount the SD card on a PC, you can just copy them all to it at once. They’ll be on drive B: when you reinstall the card in PicoCalc. If you don’t have an SD card reader for your PC, you should get one. They’re pretty cheap and well worth the small cost.

Thank you, Tomi. I’ve just ordered a SD card reader ($4.99) I had never hear of those. You just saved me a lot of time - Now I will not have to dig out one of my many stored away laptops! And I won’t have to worry about XMODEM either! You’re the man!
