Issues with OS, Recommended software and WiFi

When I flash the latest OS release from Clockwork, I can’t access the Recommended Software depository in the os. It says that I don’t have an internet connection even though I do and the browser works just fine. When I update through the terminal I lose WiFi. The icon just disappears and no more internet connection.

Anyone else experiencing this or have any suggestions.

If you lose wifi after an update, try running sudo raspi-config in the terminal, then going to “Advanced Options” > “Network Config” and changing the network configuration to dhcpcd. That fixed it for me and a few others.

Thanks. That fixed it. Not sure why I didn’t think to look there.
