Four photos with same speed and aperture setting, different or no diffusers. Which is which and what would you choose ?. View full screen and possibly change your screen brightness.
3d printed, 3d printed with leds blacked out, no diffuser, stock Clockwork diffuser…

To me, 4 looks best. I took the diffuser right out of mine. Useless piece o’ crap.

I agree but 4 is NOT ‘no diffuser’ !
4 has no diffuser? that’s probably the best option then. I did saw some posts that they remove it with better results
NO, 4 is not the ‘no diffuser’, i.e it has one…
ah my bad. Im guessing you used a clear PETG for that?
I’ll reveal all when a few more have participated
I wasn’t implying #4 was no diffuser, just saying what I did with my system. If #4 is something you’re planning on making, then put me down for one!

It’s already available but used in a slightly different way.

Number 4 for me and 2 in second place, it would be first but not all the keys appear lit.

1 - No diffuser.
2 - Clockwork diffuser.
3 - 3D printed diffuser with leds blacked out.
4 - 3D printed diffuser with no led blacking.
Summing rgb values between the same pixel on the letter M … No4 is 15% brighter than No1. Not a big difference but certainly noticeable.
Did you have any issues printing the diffuser? I couldn’t for the life of me get it to print properly
No printer, baught from the link provided…

What’s happening with the print? How’s it failing?

The tpu won’t extrude right. It never has any thickness or the tpu strings and pulls up

Usually… if TPU strings, it’s the temperature is too high or it may need to be dried. Try to reduce the nozzle temperature sometime it may help.

That’s what I would try first too, @Chris_McIntosh I don’t know what printer you are running, it may also pay to slow the print speed down.
Thanks both these are great. I’ll start dialing the settingn
