LightKey Cable Not Functioning Anymore

Hey there,
I’ve had my GameShell kit for a year and the LightKey Cable decided it was time to no longer function. I was wondering if anyone knew of any alternatives, or of the specific cable so I could buy a replacement.

Welcome to the forums.
Before you go and find a different option, check the pins. They are extremely thin and prone to bending!

Lightkey not recognised, not lighting up

The plug for the light key is probably one of the most finicky one to set. If you don’t install it perfectly aligned, the pins will bend! There are a few posts covering that you can search in the forums. But basically, if they are bent, carefully try and realign them, and then install the cable with the light key unit outside of its housing. https://forum.clockworkpi.com/search?context=topic&context_id=5135&q=Pins%20bent&skip_context=true

Otherwise, if it’s nor the pins, send a picture of what’s happened to the cable.
