The purpose of this thread is to one-up the last person who commented on this thread. I will start… I once built a spaceship out of legos when I was 8. There was no color scheme, but I felt accomplished.
I built an 8 foot long spaceship out of computer punch cards based on a triangular truss design … Engine, Bridge, and cargo modules where all hexagonal it was spray painted white then aged with an air brush - it hung in our local library all summer for our blast off to reading program from steel cables on either end… it required no other supports… my dad wouldn’t let me keep it and there are no known photos… sigh…Similar structures can be built using manila folder materials…
