Opening up the PicoCalc case safely

I’m opening up my PicoCalc way more than I anticipated and the PicoCalc’s keyboard doesn’t like to cooperate with that operation. So for $1 I bought a 5mm sheet of foam from the craft store (in my case Michael’s) and made a small support to keep the keyboard from pushing up on the PCB when the unit is opened. The opening is roughly 90mm x 73mm. I also taped down my screen as others have done. The taped down screen and this foam thing have helped make work inside the PicoCalc much easier.

Or drill out the centre two holes in case back and leave the centre screws in with spacers !. Hence faster opening too. Can lead to a little case creaking tho… (old photo, has different washers now with flat sides so case back sits flat).
