Picocalc continuously reboots in ulisp and micropython?

My Picocalc recently started to reboot continuously when I l flash ulisp or micropython. This happens when using Pico or Pico 2 W. It initially boots and then a second later, the display text for ulisp fades away then it reboots and repeats. Other software like basic, picoware, etc., work fine. I ensured the Pi was seated properly, screen cable seated properly, batteries charged, etc. I tried several versions of ulisp and they all do this. Any ideas?

Thanks

have you upgraded the keyboard firmware? if so, i don’t know about ulisp but micropython has a known incompatibility: Bug in keyboard driver causes bootloop on bios 1.4 · Issue #35 · zenodante/PicoCalc-micropython-driver · GitHub

Yes, sorry, should have mentioned, I did upgrade the keyboard firmware.

Yes, I have seen the same behaviour on some of the older uf2’s after upgrading the firmware.

Kind of unfortunate. Anyone know if its possible to downgrade the keyboard firmware?

just follow the same process with the old firmware PicoCalc/Bin/PicoCalc_BIOS_v1.2.bin at master · clockworkpi/PicoCalc · GitHub

You can simply follow the instructions (Bios / Keyboard update Picocalc). If you don’t understand German, you can translated the instructions.
