Picocalc NES question

Do the ROMs need to be in a folder? I cant find much info about this

it gets stuck at:

Init FatFS - OK
Disk Mount - OK
File List - OK code=0xd

and does nothing else, pressing keys does nothing

Ive made sure the roms are under 44kb

Any help greatly appreciated

The roms should be in the root of the SD card and should end with .nes
