Yes I have tested with a CM3 in the uConsole arm_64bit=1 is not necessary all uConsole images only have the 64bit kernel to boot off of. There is no 32bit kernel present to boot.

Please note that the line arm_64bit=1 is necessary to boot this kernel. This had me scratching my head for a while; it was not necessary on 6.16.1-1, but became so by 6.16.5-3.

I have found a case where arm_64bit=1 is indeed necessary and have updated my first post accordingly. I’m not yet sure why OuinOuin74’s kernels are an exception to your rule.
