[Solved] uConsole doesn't boot with CM4 using eMMC

Hello,

I’ve got a uConsole and wanted to use a CM4 with eMMC with it. I know eMMC has downsides, but that’s the only CM4 I have with Wifi and I did not want to buy a new one.

I’ve written the latest ClockworkPi-Trixie-6.12.48.img.xz to the eMMC.
My boot.conf is:

[all]
BOOT_UART=1
WAKE_ON_GPIO=1
POWER_OFF_ON_HALT=1
BOOT_ORDER=0xf41
ENABLE_SELF_UPDATE=1
SD_BOOT_MAX_RETRIES=2

I’ve already tried different BOOT_ORDERconfigurations.

When I connect it to a raspberry Pi Powerbrick and connect HDMI I only see this line:

`brcm-pcie fd500000.pcie: link down`

and after that, the device shuts down (green LED goes of).
I have no idea what’s wrong and I’m also out of ideas what I can try now.

Does someone have an idea what I could do to get it running?

When you flash the image did you use raspberry pi imager and did you apply any custom settings?
If so reflash without any custom settings.

Thank you very much for the fast response!
I thought I’ve tried that, but it was late yesterday so I’m not sure. I’ll try and let you know.

Thank you a lot @Rex !
I really thought I’ve already tried that. But flashing without custom settings worked. I could have figured that out sooner :see_no_evil_monkey:
