uConsole CM5 mainboard

Oww would it work with hacker gadgets board..

I`m back on the project, first board has some routing issues. I hope in a few days I can repair the problem, I will post 3D file when it will be functional.

After test and if its ok I will post a link to PCBway-project, if you want to get one.

Great!

Really looking forward to seeing the file and maybe order one from the mill

Github: CM5 schematic and pcb It may be useful for you.

I recently found out that the cm5 has a built in rtc that just needs a battery wired up. It would be a great feature to have a battery module on the board.

Yess, it has. I have already implemented the original rtc battery connector.

Hi @neocska92 any update on your ā€œuConsole cm5 mainboardā€œ?
I’m very interested in this project.
Thank you in advance.

Hello, @neocska92!
@QuantumKraken in ā€œFixing uConsole power delivery limitations with CM5ā€ replaced a capacitor on the mainboard and looks like that fixed the issue of keyboard disconnecting when plugging a device to the USB-A port.

Would it be possible to include a similar capacitor upgrade in your design? It looks fairly simple and seems to solve the power-delivery limit.

Awesome project @neocska92, especially if you are going to also expose both USB3.0 pins in the mini pcie (side) connector. This will open up a whole new possibilities for the expansion boards.

Slowly I’m working my way to repair signal issues. and a bunch of forgotten traces.

Sorry for taking this long. When I will have a less messy(spaghetti) board i will post fotos.
