uConsole expansion board kicad template

Here’s a simple minimal kicad project skeleton for customizing uConsole expansion boards. The dimensions are either measured from the 4G expansion board or traced from the mechanical drawing.

The pads for speakers are the same size of the 4G board’s, and their locations are verified with real hardware. However, I do not guarantee that everything will work the same way with the manufacturer of your choice.

I publish this to empower others, avoiding duplicated effort. I really don’t want to waste it on a one-time project.

Have fun tinkering! ٩( ᐛ )و

Hi everyone, I hope this message finds the right board!

As a GitHub newbie, I’ve been working on a custom uConsole expansion board. It offers GPIO exposure, a camera interface, and multiple I2C pins, tailored to my specific needs. Unfortunately, I don’t own a uConsole yet, which means I haven’t been able to test the board myself.

I’m really keen to get some eyes on it and would appreciate any insights or testing from the community.

Here’s the link to the repository: GitHub - AleReb/uEXC: expansion port for uConsole

Thanks so much for your time and help!
