I have lost the wifi icon on the taskbar. I was able to reconnect to wifi using the nmcli command in terminal but it would be easier to have an icon showing on the taskbar. I have tried to use the add/remove items approach and have not been successful. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

In the Panel Applets I removed “Wireless and Wired Networks” then added “Network Manager” and it started working fine for me.
Might have been after I updated, but the last thing you want to do is always reflash when that happens.
