4G module won’t work

Doesn’t matter what I’ve tried, it just won’t work!:frowning:

Would love some help with this, please.
Tried on both provided image from GitHub.

Are you sure it doesn’t matter what you tried? Not even from the very site you got those images from?
You people keep asking without browsing whether or not somebody else asked the same question as you.

Yes, I’m sure. I’ve searched, both in here and on GitHub, and didn’t get any 4G connection.

Hmm, yeah. Now that’s odd. What’s the signal bars on the top right mean? Is the module flashing an LED or something? Have you looked into dmesg or journalctl for clues on what went wrong?
Try to be more descriptive of your situation next time. Saying “you’ve tried everything” or the like without summarizing which ones you did will give the wrong impression.

Ye, you’re right. Was really frustrated and hungry after 2 hours of trying.

The signal bars are for WiFi.

Board it self doesn’t blink at all.

lsusb displayed it on 9001 but only once, and never again.

Not familiar with the two commends you mentioned, will try once I get back home and report back.

Not blinking? Either of the 4g-enable commands should cause the LED in the module to light up, at least that’s how I understood it. Seems to me like it is defective. Does sound play in your device? (I ask this because the speakers are connected via the extension module.)

…I’m not sure if you’re familiar with what’s called a “pastebin”. Do use that next time instead of flooding the conversation with the actual logs.
Anyway, I’m not much of an expert with looking into logs. But I’m not seeing the 4G module registered by the system. You may have to consider reporting to Customer Service for a defective module. Explain the situation before requesting for a replacement under warranty.
