Can you tell if the USB power is turned on? There is an I/O pin that enables USB power.
both behaviour with usb power connected or not
i’m going to try and build your kernel, what .config options did you enable i see youve changed some names.
BACKLIGHT_OCP8178, DRM_PANEL_CLOCKWORK_CWU50 and SIMPLE_AMPLIFIER_SWITCH
i tried to change as little as possible, but sadly there were a few modifications required to make it compile and compatible with a few design changes in the makefile.
Backlight works on my side.
Very nice!! One less python/gpio process to worry about!
I’m wondering if there’s a standard device-tree way of doing it? Like, declaring a ctrl-pin under the sound device?
So I notice the wiki for the uconsole is nonexistent. Do yall have any links for guides for a noob to start learning on?
there are too few people owning one, so noone created a community driven wiki so far. you should use this forum + github.
ok i had a little time to play around and the 6.6 kernel, even the official ones from RPI bookworm have some major issues with the internal USB of the uconsole, thats why the keyboard and the usb port are not working with my build. It seems like we need a litte bit more kernel magic.
so long, i can only suggest using the older kernel 6.1
