Bluetooth keyboard?

Hello all, is anyone using a bluetooth keyboard with the uconsole? Which one? Which os are you using? Is it easy to set up? Thanks

you need to use any which has ā€˜windows/android mode’, not ā€˜apple/iphone mode’ as they have different keycodes for some reason.

most keyboard should allow you to switch between.

I can recommend keychon keyboards as they are cheap and good, also allows to switch easily between 3 bluetooth devices

(for bluetooth only use may has sense to buy no-backlight version)

I think I have this one: Keychron K1 Max QMK/VIA Wireless Custom Mechanical Keyboard

Thank you. So did you try a bluetooth keyboard? It works well?

I tried. My keychron works okay in android mode, yes.

Nowadays bluetooth works mostly okay in linux.

Plus you always have backup keyboard so you can fix bluetooth.

but you can buy any 20$ bluetooth keyboard if you don’t care if it mechanical or whatever. Just check for ā€œwindows/android modeā€ and It should work the same.

Huh. I’ve got the very same model. It’s a nice keyboard. My first mechanical keyboard in very many years, and I’m surprised how good it is to write using one

It works fine with uConsole, too. The only problem I’m experiencing is that it connects only using the dongle, bluetooth refuses to detect the keyboard for some reason. It’s kind of annoying.

I have pre-qmk version. just tried and it connects and works just fine (paired from 3rd attempt due to ā€œparing timeoutā€, but I blame bluetooth more than keyboard itself)
