Bookworm 6.6.y for the uConsole and DevTerm

Yes, sorry, the bookworm image from the top of the thread, specifically the one for the CM4 and the CM5.

Tested the output with an external display and I do get an image on there.

I don’t currently have an Ethernet dongle, no.

Whats the image? any boot messages? can you complete the setup and get to the desktop?

I get to the welcome screen with the clockwork pi logo.

The trackball and the keyboard on the uConsole itself don’t seem to work, same result when using an external keyboard and mouse.

I honestly can’t tell if my inputs aren’t working, or if the screen is simply frozen. The power button doesn’t seem to do anything. I currently have to pull my 18650s out to turn the unit off.

Most likely the overlays are not working but the CM5 itself is working in the uConsole. I’ll compile a CM5 only kernel and build a image with it so you can give that a try ruling out the other CM stuff messing things up. If that fails I’ll need to wait till I can get one or if Clockwork puts out a new image or kernel.

I have both uConsole and DevTerm.
For CM5 test
The screens do not work on either device. HDMI works on both devices.
USB works on DevTerm but not on uConsole.
The keyboard and trackball work on DevTerm but not on uConsole.

I’m making a new image right now for CM5 only for CM5 owner to try, it will be in the mega like in the op within a hour. The file name will be ClockworkPi-CM5-Bookworm-6.6.63.img.xz

Any chance you could upload the CM5 image to Google drive as well?

Being blocked from downloading more from MEGA.

I already tested it and got the same result as ClockworkPi-CM4-CM5-Bookworm-6.6.63
I also change dtoverlay to “dtoverlay=vc4-kms-v3d-pi5,cma-384” but nothing appears on the screen.

@electrokev007 I’ll upload it to google drive for you.
@Sitta_Oby The image with kernel 6.6.60 will definitely not work with the CM5. Did you try: ClockworkPi-CM5-Bookworm-6.6.63.img.xz?
Not the ClockworkPi-CM4-CM5-Bookworm-6.6.63.img.xz

Same as ClockworkPi-CM4-CM5-Bookworm-6.6.63
PS. Edited previous reply to the correct version.

I’m gonna look around some and see what I can find. I’ll upload another image after I try some stuff.

@Sitta_Oby @electrokev007 There is a v2 of the cm5 image in the google drive link. I added CM5 compatibility to the overlay, if that don’t work I’ll have to wait till I get my hands on one to do testing on it.

Thank you for your hard work. However, V2 has the same result as the previous image.
I’m looking forward to your CM5 to arrive.

I haven’t ordered one yet, gonna have to wait till after the holidays. I’m gonna keep researching what I can without one and I’ll DM you if I have a image for you to test.

Quick question: what’s the window manager? I keep finding references to OpenBox,
