Can't "click" the uConsole (fresh build)

I can move the mouse around on the uConsole but when I press on the dome - no click.

Steps I have taken so far:

  • Removed and reinstalled the roller mouse, trying different orientations - no joy.
  • Device will work with an external mouse installed (assume it not a driver issue)

Any ideas?

have you tried xev or wev to confirm there is no click?

it should produce “middle mouse click”, like open link in new tab

for left/right clicks there are dedicated buttons.

(if you will update keyboard firmware you will be able to use fn + ball for scroll)

(or QMK firmware does scroll on select + ball)

Turns out the clearly marked L and R buttons are the clicks !
