Disappointed! Bad Screen

So I assembled my new PicoCalc and it doesn’t work. No display on the screen. I removed and reconnected the screen cable several times and nada. I know I can probably get a replacement, but I don’t feel like going through the hassle. I hope other folks have better luck! Mine is destined for the trash.

Please disregard my post. I accidently dropped the unit and the screen came to life and it seems to be working as it should. Weird!

I would guess the batteries were not making contact. I’m glad to hear that it is working now!

there’s also the case that the power button seems to need to be held longer to power on the picocalc than most devices i own with a similar momentary switch for power

“Hassle”? I had a problem with mine, top line of characters on the screen was corrupted. Contacted support, sent a a picture and they arranged a replacement straight away, no hassle.
