Sooo… I was plugging everything together … wasn’t a big deal. But just a black screen when switching it on. Could it be an easy fix? Like DIP switch in the wrong positition?
Is there maybe a thread I am not following here with some insights / tutorial / hints?
This happened to me, too. In my case, I happened to insert one of the flex cables backwards. Once I connected it properly, it worked fine. Hope this helps!
I started having the same issues after trying to Flash Trixie when it came out. Still not able to figure it out. Still weird when I tried going back to bookworm. I fiddled with disabling and enabling SPI and I2C in raspi config and got it fully working. But it’s kind of random and goes back to being weird after a power cycle. Been weeks of not being able to figure it out.
Are you using a SSD in the Uconsole is that what your booting from? If you are I had the same issue I removed the SSD all is fine. The issue is you need gen2 SSD anything above will get hot and drain battery and instability.
Thank you all for the answers… I think I’ll probably have to follow almost all of your traces…
starting with the acquisition of a gen-2 nvme… Any suggestions? I guess most “nice” nvmes I’d usually pic are way too power hungry. What do y’all use? Samsung 980? I had a 970 EVO Plus (so a gen-3).
Does anybody see if I got the cabling right? The official pics got other versions… tought to tell how it gotta be inserted (I just switched orientation of the right addon board with lora etc. … feels wrong now haha)
edit: … should have waited 10 seconds… jeeeez. Got a picture now! So it was the wrong orientation …
No idea how to continue my journey now… probably with the easiest … using a new trixie image?? One from @Rex ? (hope you don’t mind me pinging you ) — probably faster than trying to upgrade from bookworm.
…but of course now some keys don’t work like space. aaaah
