That gives me hope. Maybe mine ships inndec or January. 1k orders after yours and same cursed specs: black-wifi-only core
I’m starting to think the date given by Alex was more of a simple calculation than an actual shipping date. Like “if his is order 27k, were on order 25k and we ship 2k orders a month, his should be fulfilled by month’s end”
I wish I had read a bit more on the forums and ordered the raw aluminum color instead of the all black. Well, back to the waiting chair. I really want my uConsole but the wait is killing me
I ordered what it said was “in stock”, then a few days later asked to have the CM4 removed to try and speed things up. The CM4 refund was very prompt, and hopefully I get min in the next few weeks.
Order #26645; Black, CM4, 4gb, wifi only arrived today! Ordered in January. Letting it reach room temperature before attempting to assemble it as I’m in MN and it is below freezing outside.
Order #270xx
Color: Matte Black
Type: WIFI+4G cellular
Core: Raspberry Pi CM4 104000 lite
Just got the shipping notif last night.
says it should arrive Wed, Nov 27.
Now the longest part of the wait… My wife wants to wrap it and put it under the Christmas tree. I’m going to have to be like a 12 year-old again and unwrap it at night so I can play with it and then wrap it back up again before “Mom” wakes up.
At least in my case I could make an excuse that I ordered it for my birthday - which was in june. Despite Alex claiming that my order is in “next batch” I doubt I’ll get it before christmas, though it would definitely be nice. This year however isn’t about me as much as it is about my 11 month old boy. He’s probably too young to even understand yet, but it will be his first christmas regardless almost a month before his first birthday
How many people that don’t get on this forum do you think there are that just give up and ask for a refund? If they are moving 100 a month, mine should have come around by now and none of you should have been waiting for 9+ months.
They really should change the “In Stock” to say “Available for Order”. In stock means ready to ship, which is what it said when I hit the go button.
On the product’s information page it does say “Pre Order” to be fair to them. I do wish they’d be a little more transparent with the shipping estimates, maybe show the approximate shipping times for each variant.
I almost got it with the CM4 but decided to be cheap and not do because I wanted a different CM4 variant and didn’t want to have a spare lying around waiting for a use, if I knew about the difference in shipping time that decision would’ve been made much sooner, and I think many more people would too.
