How to enable the NVME drive with HG V2

Sorry for the new topic, I know I read on here before how to enable the NVME drive if it was not showing up but no I cannot find that topic. I have a new Uconsole with a CM5 lite and all the Hacker Gadget V2 boards. I have a low power 500 GB drive installed the the HG battery board.

My drive is not showing up or I’m looking in the wrong place. What do I need to do to enable it or check to see if enabled.

Add “dtparam=pciex1=on” to config.txt (/boot/firmware/config.txt)
Best under [cm5]

Check boot order too.

Ok I have my drive working but when I try to open it I get a windows saying Authentication is required to mount CT500P3SSD8. What password is it expecting? I have not set a password and I do not need one to boot into my Uconsole? Is it something left over on the drive I need to erase? Can I format the drive from terminal?

Default password for user - mounting with sudo.

You may later edit user to allow mount without password, but first, check what’s on the drive.

If it’s used drive and you just want for uconsole, wpie it clean, use sd card copier and reboot.

Thank you. I ran the SD Card Copy and now it is booting from the NVME drive.
