New Mainboard - Difference in performance to the old one

Hi,

First of all, thanks for the free shipping on the new board. I’m having a hard time deciding if the 1GB Ram is enough to justify the $49 price tag. I won’t use the HDMI out that much I think, so that doesn’t count.

So I am wondering, will emulator performance be better? That is what I use the gameshell most for these days. What area (emulators, native software, os) is going to get the most noticeable improvement?

You should really not see a difference between, the CPU is the same, and that what matter the most. More memory just allow bigger game or more data in memory, that’s basically it.

(and also being able to display at higher resolution as framebuffer use memory)
