Sorry if this info is available somewhere else or at retroarch/libretro, but is there a way to start the game boy emulator with the “original” nintendo logo and the start up sound ?
I’ve tried understanding some stuff about firmware and the emulator but not being sure it does the above desired effect so I stopped looking into it.
You need a copy of the ROM inside a gameboy, and you also need an emulator that have support for it.
Also that ROM is also as copyrighted as games, so sharing it is as illegal.

Reading https://docs.libretro.com/library/bios/ and https://docs.libretro.com/library/mgba/ I finally got the gb_bios.bin file in the right directory /home/cpi/apps/emulators/bios to get it working
Side note : there is a gba_bios.bin in /home/cpi/apps/emulators/ is it being ignored ? Is it in the right place ?
