Hello everyone,
I’m new to the community and have been following the PicoCalc project with great interest.
One idea that immediately came to mind is using the PicoCalc as a compact trend logger for measurement data. By connecting sensors or using serial interfaces, it could record and display values such as temperature, humidity, voltage, current, pressure, or other measurements over time.
Features that I think would be particularly useful:
- Logging measurement data to an SD card
- Real-time trend graphs on the built-in display
- Zooming and scrolling through historical data
- CSV export for analysis on a PC
- Alarm functions when thresholds are exceeded
- Battery-powered operation for portable monitoring
The integrated keyboard could also make it easy to configure logging sessions, add notes to measurements, or mark important events during data collection.
I can imagine applications in hobby electronics, home laboratories, environmental monitoring, solar power systems, and many other DIY projects.
Is anyone already using their PicoCalc for something similar? I’d be interested to hear about existing software, projects, or ideas in this area.
Looking forward to learning from the community!
Best regards
