I’m having problems with my Uconsole when i installed the CM5 16GB Lite. It was working with the CM4 lite 4GB, with a 256 SD CARD, and all works fine!
I changed the CM4 for my new CM5 16GB Lite, and installed the Bookworkm Os from @Rex repository (Thanks for your work master!!), but when i put the Sd card into the Uconsole, keeps stuck on black screen and nothing happen!
I tried with a SD CARD 32GB, with the same Os (Bookworm) and the CM5, and all works fine (I changed the eeprom config and the boot now is normal), but nothing happen with the SD CARD 256 GB!
Any idea about how to solve this issue? Thanks a lot!!
Note: I have working with this 256 SD card into the Uconsole with CM4 for over 1 year and all fine! but with the change to CM5, the issue start!, I need all the space posible for storage, i need use a bigger Sd card than 32 Gb
Yes, i have a 32GB SD CARD with Bookworm that works perfectly!, but i don’t know how to solve the problem with the 256 GB SD Card. I have already update the firmware with the 32gb sd card, but still the problem with the other one
Yes, i updated the firmware with the 32GB SD CARD put on the Uconsole and make the config changes in this Sd card.
But my problem still in the biggest 256 GB SD CARD, i pull out the 32SD and put my 256 GB (With the Bookworm image installed vía Pi Imager and the image made by Rex) and nothing happened, only black screen and no boot signals…
Either the SD card is borked, or the image you flashed was corrupt.
mmcblk0p2: Input/output error means the kernel is trying to read from the storage device and is recieving nothing but errors, and remounting as read only is not a great sign.
Are you sure, like 100% certain, that this is a genuine 256G card from a reputable manufacturer?
