[SOLVED] Brand new uConsole turned on once, wont turn on since

Hello,

I just received my uConsole the other day and am working on it now. Using stock hardware except for a CM5 8gb RAM 64gb EMMC. Will later switch to hacker gadgets hardware once I get this issue resolved.

I have a CM5 nano base board to flash the CM5. I was originally flashing Rex’s bookworm, then tried Rex’s trixie. Flashing with official pi imager.

On first boot, a screen with the clockwork logo and interactive mouse appeared. It then shut off (looked like a normal shutdown). Since then, nothing had appeared on the screen. No backlight, no miniHDMI output. Nothing.

Besides the green power LED, no signs of life. The CM5 is warm when “turned on”. I’ve tried re-flashing, no change. I tried moving from bookworm to trixie, no change. Tried hard power cycle by disconnecting wired power and batteries, no change.

Please help!! :crying_cat:

Have you tried booting a clean raspberry pi image in the base board?l after? That way we know if the CM5 is working.

Did what you suggested, booted a plain rpi image for an ssh test. The EEPROM was broken! I’ve since fixed it and it boots now!! Everything seems to be working fine at the moment. :grinning_cat_with_smiling_eyes:

Thank you for your idea of testing the cm5 independently. Your bookworm image is now running, going to try to config the aio v2 hardware and software now.
