So yeah, looks like valve is making big steps. There were already some mentions in the source, but seems its not far away now.
I guess this could be massive for gaming on Pi, and with that the Uconsole?

Ehhh, maybe. The pi doesn’t have much of a gpu.
I mostly tried steam link which would be the ideal scenario but at that time couldn’t finish the compilation/installation and haven’t tried since
Oh i know, but i also play some older games, and turn based ones etc. Not every game needs a massive GPU. And i have been building up a library for a loooong time, hahaha.
And for compatibility alone it would be a big step, regardless of the steam store.
You can simply install steam link from Pi-Apps
