My unit sees all my SSIDs but I can’t connect to any of them. When I type in the passwords, I get re-prompted in a few secs. I attempted to connect to my 2.4, 5/6Ghz, nothing. Tried several different Rex’s distros, nada.
The only way I could connect was to the hotspot on my 15 Pro when I set it the hotspot to “maximize compatibility”
I googled, I searched this board, nothing that was my scenario. Claud suggested my router is too new or advanced, it’s a GL.Inet Flint 3, but I when I tried to connect to my guest WiFI, 2.4GHz / WPA, same story.
First, verify that the keyboard localization has been set. So the keys actually type the proper character. You can test if I just opening a text document and typing the special characters on the number row and making sure they match. If they don’t you can set it in raspi-config
Second, the antenna placement you were using causes interference. The antenna is being grounded to the case. You’ll need to unstick it and give it a couple millimeters of distance using a piece of thick double-sided tape or something. You can also print a little Mount to put in aftermarket antenna on.
This was it. Never I’d imagine this would be the solution. I added a few strips of double-sided tape and can connect to everything. TIL, and thanks to all!
