Unable to connect WiFi Uconsole with CM5 and full Hacker Gadget setup

I have my first Uconsole build and it has all the hacker gadget upgrades. I have installed the latest version of Kali and I cannot get it to connect to my WiFi. I see both my networks and my neighbors WiFi networks so I know I have WiFi running, but when I enter my password it will not connect. I have tried both my 2.4 and 5.8Ghz networks many times with no success.

What am I doing wrong?

Did you confirm if the password is correct? I know this is basic, but just checking :slightly_smiling_face:

I know it is basic but yes I did more than once

So I just got back to my Uconsole and I booted it up and it connected to my wifi on boot up. So no clue what was going on before.

Nice. Sometimes we don’t understand machines!

welcome to the linux!

Do you use stock antenna? If so did u stick it on the on top of the uconsole?

If so:

The stock antenna sucks but if you use that reattach it to a piece of double sided tape or a piece of cardboard, and rest it on top of the uconsole on the same spot where the tutorial says it to stick, also (if using cardboard) flip it up vertically to get a little more juice and distance out of it.

No I’m using the antennas from the Hacker Gadget kit.

No changes, just shut it down frustrated one day then turned it on two days later and it connected automatically from the info I entered 2 days earlier.
