Wanted to have a better grip on it so I designed and 3D printed a pair of “triggers” to be mounted on the metal kickstand. They are printed in halves and secured with M3 bolts (heat-set inserts in one side). I found that they allow for 2 types of grip; an upper (thumbs on arrow keys/trackball/gamepad) and a lower (typing while the console can rest on the index fingers).
Will test it and tweak it a bit more and drop a download link here later.
ps.: don’t mind the grungy look on mine, I printed it with a steel infused filament and sanded the surface for a rough finish.
