I also found there is no wayfire in wayland anymore, is there any way to workaround the VNC input/rotation issue?
Meshtastic and tar1090 donāt work with Trixie yet, dependency issues, SDR++ Brown does work you just need to add a audio sink.
Correct no more wayfire itās LXDE and Labwc now not sure on what needs to be done to fix that issue though. I donāt use vnc for anything.
Hi, @Rex ! I was going to upgrade to Trixie so I edited all of my /etc/apt/sources.list files to trixie, but when I tried to update, I received the following error:
E: The repository ā``https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ak-rex/ClockworkPi-apt/main/trixie`` stable Releaseā does not have a Release file.
Should I just download the new image or will the Release file be coming soon?
my repoās version is still labeled trixie so you donāt need to change that. changeing the sources only will get you the newer packages not any of the new packages or config changes RPi has made you can do a dist-upgrade but that will wipe my custom kernel and configs iāve done and the device will fail to boot. so the best course of action would be flash a new trixie image.
Hackergadgets package now works with Trixie! check out this post for the new one line install command.
OK! No dist-update, then.
get it! Thanks Rex! 20 characters
So your kernel repo stays at ābookwormā, also for trixie, correct?
Because I would maybe want to try an update with new trixie repos for newer packages.
Yes, my repo is labeled bookworm but itās good for both. Most the software in there is stuff I had to compile myself and can be installed on both versions. Iāll rename it here soon though.
Thank you for making a trixie image.
Thanks for making this available. Fresh install and I only had to convince the screen configuration to rotate to the right to get it correct and uncomment the DevTerm overlays.
Yes 6.16.y is available but itās not a LTS kernel. Support for 6.16 will end around the end of the year. 6.12.y is supported until 2036 and is the officially supported kernel for Debian 13.
Hi Rex, I found out how to fix no audio in sdrpp-brown, here is the solution:
audio works in sdr++ brown you just need to add a audio sink for it.
actually there is no audio sink in the module management tab before I install the self building librtaudio, I use cm5 btw
I checked on a fresh install and you just have to add it. Iāll check out that link you posted though and if it makes it easier for everybody else Iāll compile it up and have it installed with SDR Brown.
I tried a fresh install but still have no audio issue, maybe I install Trixie in Chinese language?
Updated Trixie and enabled PCIE and Ethernet to get it ready for the new adapter boards that are coming out. Also the main menu always bugged me it wasnāt alphabetical stock, so I fix that. Added a few things that they removed from Trixie like the menu editor and the ability to write to the hardware clock of the AIO board.
Enjoy the update!
