I am new to this forum and I am considering buing the uConsole. The question I have is: AIO module does not have 4G/LTE function, is there a possibility to buy a separate 4G/LTE module (raspberry Pi) and connect it via GPIO? Would that work? Thanks in advance
You may be able to use one of the USB headers or the internal USB C connection to place one internally. Here is a link to an earlier post with a solution that may be of interest. HackerGadgets AIO Board and Quectel EC20 4G LTE Core successfully activated!
the 4g module from clockwork is just a USB 4g module on a custom board
if you use the AIO board you have internal usb ports you can use to connect a similar dongle

You could maybe use the USB 3.0 off of the hackergadgets upgrade kit to have faster modem speeds
