Hi there, I just received my uConsole and I am getting a blank screen. I have the CM4 Lite (that was ordered with my uConsole). I have read a number of other posts with similar problems, but usually the solution is to reseat the ribbon cable/SODIMM/CM4, or, someone is trying to use a CM4 eMMC. I have everything fully seated and my CM4 is a Lite version.
What I have done:
Reseated the screen ribbon cable 3 times
Reseated the CM4 (Lite that came from you) multiple times
Reseated the SODIMM on the main board multiple times
Flashed the latest image from the community Drive folder onto a different SD card
If I hit Fn+Print, I get a beep
No flashing on the screen at all. No backlight on the keyboard
I get the same results if I use battery power or USB-C power
I get nothing on an external screen connected via HDMI either.
Is it possible I have a bad screen, CM4, or main board?
I’m kinda out of ideas. Thanks for listening!

This fn+print giving a beep sounds suspicious. Neither with R01 nor CM4 lite (nor PIzero via adapter ;p) i don’t have any sounds “triggered” by keyboard.
Keyboard’s backlight is OS-agnostic( yet it doesn’t come by default, you have to mash fn+space), yet to devlier power to keyboard OS must drive internal usb hub. Therefore i’d rather put blame on µSD card or it’s flashing process than on device itself.
Before we dive deeper into hardware - does green light on power button ever come on?
Thanks for your response.
Yes, I can always get the green light.
I have 3 SD cards:
The image installations consisted of downloading the image files, extracting them, and then flashing with Balena Etcher. That process seemed to go smoothly every time.
The beep with Fn+Print happens when the factory SD card is in, and with the downloaded ClockworkOS image, but not the Bookworm image.
I can adjust the keyboard backlight with Fn+Space (now that I look harder-it’s dim).
Oh, and Pi Zero? Very cool!
Clockwork support was able to identify a main board component that either came loose or was not soldered completely. They offered to send a new board, but I reflowed it and am up and running.
I thank you VERY much for your help.
