Can the uConsole CM4-D (Raspbian-based OS) go into sleep mode at all? I forgot to shut it down in the morning when the battery was at 100%, and when I came home later, the batteries were empty.
not sure if RPI CM also applies, but my R01 sometimes goes into this wierd state were system is theoritically halted, but backlight stays on and cells are getting flat pretty fast.
For sure i can tell that when after issuing shutdown loudspeakers “click” then machine is cold for good.

no, there’s no sleep or hibernation for the cm4.

Or, does it mean that user should shut it down through the Raspbian menu or CLI?
By the way, does the long press to the power button also shuts uConsole down?

if you’re done using the device shut it down. cli or menu shutdown is fine.

Interesting. Honestly I’ve expected that they added proper power management there…
