uConsole CM4 Kali Linux no longer showing on LCD and audio not working

I have been trying to configure Kali Linux with my new uConsole and once i run apt update and apt upgrade and install the ClockworkPi packages, on reboot, my screen on the LCD is blank but still shows on HDMI out. I need some help please

Where did you download the kali image?
It sounds like the update replaced the custom uconsole kernel which has drivers for the screen with a mainline raspi kernel.
If you used Rex’s kali reinstall his kernel package, if you used the older official kali I would reimage to one of Rex’s images. Debian trixie and then installing the software you want is usually more reliable than one of the more specialist distros because of the way the images are made.

Hi there, thanks for the reply. It’s the Kali Linux image from Rex. Everytime time I try to install the clockwork kernel it fails out. Then when I install the hackergadgets-aio-board and reboot, the LCD doesn’t come on. I assume it’s the clockwork kernel that is causing this issue

what error messages are you getting?

Most of them are can’t write clockworkpi-kernel or operations not permitted

can you please give us the exact commands and output?

Well now the OS is frozen. Can’t login. I can reimage and give the exact error
