I would love to use my uconsole te edit files on my flipper zero.
When i connect the flipper zero via usb, my uconsole just crashes. It straight up just turns off. I tried different usb cables with no luck. Anybody got experience with this?
I suppose you are connecting Flipper Zero to uConsole working from batteries. In this case Flipper takes too much power from uConsole so the device just turns off. This can probably be solved by using good batteries with protection.
Or, just to prevent Flipper to take power from uConsole just seal with tape the 5V contact in the USB cable connector. Flipper should work on his own power and use cable for data transmission only. Not sure if this helps in that case, you obviously need to test it, but this helped me with 3D printer connection to OctoPi.
Thanks for the good tips. Got some good battereis with protection installed. The wire thing seems like a good idea. I will open up a wire and cut the power lines. Hopefully this will do the trick!
remember to keep GND line intact - after all usb’s DP and DM have to have some referrence point ;).
And to be precise - UNprotected 18650s are more capable, probably it’s power pcb’s arbitrary current limitation, not the cells themselves.
