your settings also work as expected, a bit hot, but not frying your steak hot.
What am i doing wrong, none of these commands work on my uconsole, nothing changes. I have spent 4 hours typing and rebooting. I can run uevent in the axp20x-battery directory to see the list, your single line or anything else i can find i type in and no error messages. The current setttings never change. Is there a location i need to be at to use this one liner? I tried to input on separate lines and received a bash error on the ATTR lines.
Using that command wont work with some images for the uConsole. What image are you using?
Rex’s lastest Kali 6.12, thou i can not use it as the keyboard acts crazy, and Obsidian for uconsole
On my Kali image it will work. After you do that command you wont get any feedback but if you cat that file before the command and after you’ll see the value has changed. The older 5.10 kernel images it wont work on.
I did this “cat /sys/class/power_supply/axp20x-battery/uevent” before and after reboot with your Kali version 6.12. The batteries currently cheap chizem batteries that i got with this used uconsole. I can’t use your version of kali as the keyboard starts repeating characters. Switch back to my other os version and the keyboard is fine.
The stock keyboard firmware is known for repeating keys but the image don’t matter.
theoretically they may have different ‘delay before repeat’ time
I inherited a uConsole - but not the alternative white button! I wonder whether I can 3D print something… has anyone else done that?
