Uconsole OS feedback

I tested the uconsole os and it is good and set it up and turned of dark mode and on boot with no splash the screen is in portray not landscape and can you make an os update and I haven’t tried it on my uconsole because it dosn’t work because it just shows a white flash and black screen and my uconsole has a devterm cpi init because clockwork shipped the kit with that cpi but it is a cm4 issue so I am waiting for it. And don’t forget to fix the bug and nice os but add the apps that come with the stock os that the uconsole cm4 kit comes with but the os is very good. Thank you.

And Rex the one that made the os please fix the bug: without splash it is in portrait mode not landscape and please add the apps and games that comes with the is the uconsole cm4 kit.

It’s in portrait mode because you’re not using it on the uConsole. The panel is native portrait but we have to rotate it to landscape. So the console is rotated to display right on the uConsole, loading it up on a HDMI monitor will show the console in portrait. You can make it normal by removing fbcon=rotate:1 from the cmdline.txt

Can you add the apps and games that comes with the uconsole cm4 kit to your bookworm image. Also make a trixie image (beta).

I’m just a community member, I don’t work for clockwork. Trixie is still in beta and I’ll release a image when it’s more stable. You can make the bookworm image into trixie by changing out the repos.

The games in the stock images are in my apt repo and you can install them though that.

You don’t need to build the trixie image from scratch I found a trixie image for rpi4 at https://raspi.debian.net/daily/raspi_4_trixie.img.xz
and you could add the apt repos and desktop environment but it is not raspbian it is pure Debian so try and build on top of the os and add a beta images folder in your mega containing the trixie image but you have to login to it as root no password and I knew it because I tried it so now try and build on top of the os

And also make it work for cm5 and cm4.

I am curious, since you seem to think you know how its done, why dont you do it?

I think he doesn’t have 1-2 spare hours to do it, it shouldn’t take longer
