Unable to power up after installing the AIO Ext

Hope everyone is doing well.

When I installed the AIO ext, my uConsole screen is unable to show anything, although I noticed the uConsole power button LED is lit up. After I removed the AIO ext, the screen returned to normal, and I was able to boot up the OS.

Am I missing anything? For your guidance, please.

Thank you.

what core are you using?

I am using the Raspberry Pi CM4 104000 lite. Thanks.

Could it be a hardware related issue? Try removing and re-seating the board (although i guess you have already done that). Other than that, best reach out to @vileer to check. i had the same setup as you and it worked without issues.

Thanks for the advice. Do you need to install firmware before installing the AIO ext hardware to make it work?

no i don’t remember having to do that. However, i did subsequently update my firmware to the latest. but you could certainly give it a try if you have an old CM4. i can’t remember the exact instructions but starting up rpi-eeprom-update.service using systemctl essentially gave me the clues to get this done. i did however ensure i grabbed the latest from GitHub - raspberrypi/rpi-eeprom: Installation scripts and binaries for the Raspberry Pi 4 and Raspberry Pi 5 bootloader EEPROMs.

What’s the battery level?

I put in fully charged batteries.

Hi all,

I managed to get it fixed. For some reason, I have to resit the CM4 (multiple times) to get it to work.

Thank you all for your help.
