It’s been a long time since I posted something here.
I’ve bought my GameShell around the 10/06/2020 and everything worked fine. I’m only playing PS1 RPGs on RetroArch and I’m using it very often. I’m using it on the couch or in the bed and I sometimes play while it’s charging because I just have the original 1200 mAh battery and PS1 games seems to use the battery quite a lot.
Around December 2023 I’ve noticed that sometimes it doesn’t charge. I tried switching cables and chargers 3 times and cleaning the ports. Note that the console is in “perfect” condition and I’m using it at home. There is no dust or anything inside.
So I’ve ran a couple of test and noticed that the USB Micro B port is quite loose and it’s charging only if I bend the port/end of the cable on the right.
I don’t know what to do. Is there somewhere I can send my console to fix the USB port ? How can I fix it ? Is it hard ?
