Recently got my gameshell through the post, and so far I’m loving it! Really hackable right from the start.
Does any know why snap is installed by default on the initial image ? Is there any application that uses it ?
As far as I can tell, no snaps are installed :
# snap list
No snaps are installed yet. Try "snap install hello-world".yeah, no snaps installed
Snap is good for installing apps quickly. Not sure how it integrates into gameshell

It’s installed but I haven’t come accross a tool or game yet that uses this way of being deployed on the gameshell device.
Interesting! I didn´t know, maybe it will be useful to pack community made apps and emulators so they are easier to install
