Still no shipment email. Looks like 1 month from order to shipping is the regular time plus 1/2 week for delivery

It seems that they only had stock to fulfill orders that go until14 march approximately.
After that seems like a new batch, the real question is if that batch is still āfilling the listā to be manufactured or if its already in productionā¦

Iām only guessing about this, but there have also been known issues about the displays going out with the initial PicoCalc orders. Itās possible they may be adjusting the production of the PicoCalc to account for (and fix) that, which would cause a delay. A similar thing happened with the original black uConsoles a long time ago ā the paint was flaking/scratching off in the earliest batches and the process was adjusted to prevent that. But that caused a (even larger) delay for anyone ordering black uConsoles.
There have been a number of PicoCalcs which either had damaged ribbon connectors for the display, or which were cracked/broken in the assembly process when the owner assembled the case. While there has been no official word, I received an email from Alex recently and he mentioned that they were aware of the issue and āhave been finding a solutionā.

Got my PicoCalc yesterday. Assembly was quick and easy. Pressing the start button brought picomite MMbasic. Learning MMbasic using the picomite manual and several youtube videos. >files only shows . and .. Are these on the SD card or flash memory?
First three or four digits of your order number ?. Mine was 3450x
The default is drive A:, in the PICOās flash memory. The SD card is drive B:. You can do FILES āB:.ā
or, if you know youāll want to mainly use the SD card, set the default and then B: will be the current drive every time you boot up.
