When should deliveries of PicoCalc start?

Any recent deliveries and order numbers ?. Seems to have gone a little quiet prompting thoughts the first batch might be out..

This is pure speculation on my part and I could be wrong, but my guess is they have worked through whatever stock they had built up and are in the process of getting a new batch of parts in. I imagine they are also trying to solve the cracked screen and keyboard issues and that may be slowing them down as well.

curious what the tarriffs will do to the cost .. (shipping to me was $25 when I ordered it late March) Tennessee order #355…so I’'m late to the game - already ordered alternate processor from Alibaba as well as upgrades for the Pico Pi with wifi..

Not holding my breath. After uConsole anything less than 6 months is a welcome improvement.
#346xx in case anyone was wondering.

342xx ordered March 13th, arrived Mon April 7th. I had received a shipping notice email on 4/3 from them, but it got misfiled as spam so didn’t notice till it arrived on the 7th.

Now I get to repeat the dance all over again for the DevTerm I just ordered (ordered the CM4 one, intending to try and adapt for CM5).

nobody has updates?

Next batch “waiting for the shipping agency to collect the parcels”. To include at least some (if not all) 345xx orders. Will update asap.

14th April 2025 - Not sure re Devterm but Uconsole estimate is still “90-business-day”. Re CM5… “the CM5 plan isn’t ready yet. So far we only have CM4”… So hopefully a CM5 order option coming soon :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:. I noticed a CM5 build has been released on the forums.

How do you know? Have you talked with Alex?

Yes…

Ordered on Mar 14 #344xx to US east coast. Still no email. 31 days and counting. Definitely they stopped shipping somewhen for order placed 14 mar. Hope they’ll start shipping again soon…

It’s 30 business days though. So at best that’s about 5 per week or 6 calendar weeks. I’m not sure if any holidays are going on around this time (there seem to be a lot in China), but those don’t count either.

There’s also a chance they stopped shipping for some time as they work out a solution for all the broken screens. Many of us who received them in the earlier orders have broken screens now, so even if you received yours fast you’d probably be waiting on a new screen to be able to fully use it anyway…

Looking at past order numbers they’ve certainly shipped hundreds. Knowing they won’t all know of this forum I’d still guess most worked from scratch…

Based on posts, it seems like a lot of broken screens came from opening the case to swap modules. So hopefully some owners managed to assemble it without breaking the screen and if they never open the case again to swap modules they’ll probably be fine.

Since the PicoCalc has been appearing on Aliexpress (and maybe other places) some of those shipments probably went to scalpers who got in early and are now charging double or triple the price. It’s amazing to me that some people pay those prices and support that nonsense, but clearly they do or there wouldn’t be a market for it. No idea how many of the hundreds of orders are in the scalper stockpile though.

Ordered on April 14 (yesterday), order no. 360xx, shipping to Germany.
Guess what – „still“ no delivery (date)! :joy:

I was guessing around 40 calendar days, but orders placed before mar 14 arrived well before that, like 15-20 days

but weren’t the displays broken due to user’s manipulation? (changing core, etc) rather than a factory issue?
How can they address that issue? They would need to make a new back cover or something like that I assume
