Why is not my game shell's RAM 512MB?

My game shell’s RAM is not 512MB.
And CPU clock is 1008Mhz.
Is My game shell normal??

Mine is the the same. I image it is like drive space, you get close to whatever you paid for.

It’s just different units

The measurement system difference is annoying, but due to how most manufactures use a system that results in a lower number than expected in the OS, I consider it getting less than what we paid for. You know it’s intentional…

One megabyte is equal to 1,000,000 bytes in decimal base, but for a computer it is 1,048,576 bytes in binary base. For each gigabyte advertised in base 10, you’re actually receiving about 70 megabytes less than a gigabyte in base 2.

Also some space goes for the partition table.

The 512MB or “RAM” have nothing to do with filesystem.

Not sure where the launcher get the info, but this is not a base10 vs base2 or it should display 536.87 MB

It is more likely that some part of the system is reserving about 2MB for itself hence the 510MB instead of 512.

There is really nothing to worry about.

haha true, It was early in the morning and I was still having my coffee
