Alternative Case Design for the DevTerm

This is an alternative case I whipped up in smoked acrylic. The main goal here was to allow for heat sinks on a CM5, and ease of fabrication. It could just as easily be machined out of aluminum. It’s basically a sandwich using standard electronics standoffs, and the original DevTerm internals board. The brass standoffs fit snuggly into the plastic devterm ones, but could also be epoxied in place. So far I’m pretty happy with the design, and I’m considering adding some accessory mounting brackets to the sides. Here’s a link to the pdf, dxf, and fusion 360 files. Oh, I also have an audio interface mounted to the case, it’s a Rode AI Micro.
