I have a few questions about assembly of my uConsole; hopefully someone can help.

  1. Does the CM4 module SNAP into the carrier board or just sit there and held by later component pressure?
  2. Does the WiFi antenna connector snap onto the CM4 antenna connector?

It’s best to put the cm4 in the adapter board before putting them in the mainboard, it takes a bit of force and the sodimm slot can flex a bit so it’s harder to get it to fully snap in place along the entire connector if you try to install the cm4 into an installed adapter board

And for the wifi, the included sticker antenna works best when it’s not directly against the metal case

carrier board also should snap into the mainboard

but battery board doesn’t snap: Bookworm 6.12.y for the uConsole and DevTerm - #362 by Rex
