Cellular Expansion Board not powering / uConsole CM5 / Rex Bookworm

I just assembled a CM5 uconsole. Everything for the most part is running fine.

Today my sim card arrived so I went to set up the cellular expansion board and it doesn’t seem to be powering on at all. I tried reseating the board itself multiple times. I believe that D2 should be lighting up if there is power.

I’ve confirmed that the power rail is working.

Any obvious things that I might have goofed up?

Thank you!

there’s a script on the github or wiki that turns the 4g on I think, you need to use that

thanks taking a look!

edit: THAT WAS IT!! thank you so much

I tried to find a photo or instruction on proper inssertion of the sim card. Got a pic or a link?

unfortunately I never tried my 4g module, getting a sim card was too much of a hassle

Haha, that makes sense. I think I found the issue - google fi ships a nano and the 9001 requires a micro sim. I’m printing an adapter now.

Thanks again!
