Fitting the display

Hey,
I want to assemble my kit tomorrow and I read here that the display tends to move a bit.
Did you use tape to make it fit better or is it fine?
Any experiences to share?

The display is quite stable once mounted properly. The problem comes when people remove the main board to replace the processor or do other mods. They then forget to check to see if they dislodged it and when they put the main board back and screw on the back cover, the screen cracks. Taping the screen down is a good method of eliminating this problem.

Thanks. That helps.
So taping down is the plan.

I went one step further too…

Put insulated flat-side washers and spacers on the two centre posts and drilled out the case holes. Zero movement of the board (and hence display cable) now when the back is off and faster back removal yet can create a little case creak when pressing keys. Note photo taken before fibre washers replaced with flat sided nylon.
